LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif paid rich tribute to teachers in her special message on Teachers’ Day.
She said, “Millions of blessings and greetings be on the greatest teacher Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
She said that one day is not enough to acknowledge the services of a teacher, as his greatness is timeless and unparalleled. We salute the greatness of every teacher, including our esteemed teachers.
Chief Minister Punjab highlighted that teachers are the most credible and respected segment of society. She noted that awards were presented to the position holders as well as their esteemed teachers to recognize their greatness.
She said that a good teacher not only imparts knowledge but also enlightens his students with moral values and traditions. She acknowledged the hard work and dedication of millions of teachers of Punjab, and said, “A good teacher is a positive force in society, that can lay foundation for change.”
