LAHORE: Provincial ministers Faisal Ayub Khokhar and Bilal Akbar Khan inaugurated the PakWheels Auto Show 2025 held at Expo Centre Lahore on Sunday.

They also visited various stalls showcasing a wide range of modern electric and petrol vehicles.

Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that the Lahore Auto Show is a true reflection of Pakistan’s growing car culture. “Our local automotive products are second to none, and every vehicle here tells its own story,” he remarked. He congratulated the PakWheels administration for organizing such a grand event, adding that such initiatives not only provide healthy entertainment for the youth but also encourage innovation and interest in technology.

Punjab Minister for Transport Bilal Akbar Khan expressed appreciation over the large turnout, stating that it was heartening to see so many families and young people taking part. “Such shows should continue regularly. The government will soon organize official track racing opportunities for the youth so they can safely showcase their talent,” he added.

The event, organized under the leadership of Suneel Sarfraz Munj, Chairman of PakWheels, featured a stunning collection of electric and petrol-powered cars, including globally acclaimed models such as Lamborghini, Porsche 911, Audi e-Tron, and Nissan GR. Families, youth, and students attended in large numbers, turning Lahore into the country’s automotive hub for the day.

Suneel Munj said the main purpose of the Auto Show was to promote a positive automotive culture in Pakistan and to inspire innovation among young people. He added that the inclusion of modern electric vehicles made the event environmentally significant as well.

Participants praised the show as a perfect blend of motorsports, innovation, and environmental awareness, highlighting the enthusiasm of visitors and the popularity of social media engagement with the latest car models.
