KARACHI: Gold prices edged lower on Thursday, following a slight drop in global bullion value, traders said.
International bullion market saw a thin decline by $6 to settle for $3,372 per ounce, the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said.
The fall dragged down gold prices by Rs460 and Rs394 dipping to Rs358,595 per tola and Rs307,437 per 10 grams, respectively, it cited.
Similarly, domestic silver prices fell sharply by Rs58 to Rs3,820 per tola and Rs49 to Rs3,275 per 10 grams. While international market was trading the white metal at over $36 per ounce, the association added. It is worth noting that the open market may trade gold and silver at different prices as compared to those announced by the association.
