Operation ‘Bunyan ul Marsoos’: Pakistan destroys Udhampur airbase, Pathankot airfield in India, state media reports

Pakistan has launched a counter attack against India in response to missile attacks on three Pakistan airbases, state media reported.

Pakistan has named it ‘Operation Bunyan ul Marsoos’. The country has named its Al-Fatah missiles being used in operation after children slain in Indian missile strikes.

It destroyed BrahMos Storage site in Beas area of India, state-run Radio Pakistan reported citing security sources.

The country also destroyed airbase at Udhampur while an airfield at Pathankot, it added.

Pakistan Air Force’s JF-17 Thunder’s hypersonic missiles also destroyed India’s S-400 system in Adampur, state-run PTV News reported.

“The S-400 air defence system is worth approximately $1.5 billion,” it added.

India’s Sirsa airfield and the Indian Military Intelligence training center in Rajouri, responsible for orchestrating terrorism in Pakistan was also destroyed.

All those bases in India which were used to attack Pakistani people and Masajids are being targeted, Radio Pakistan reported.

PM Shehbaz convenes meeting of National Command Authority

The report added that Pakistan also destroyed Brigade Headquarters, “K G Top”, while a supply depot in Uri has also been ruined completely.

Through a cyber attack, 70% electricity grid of India has been made dysfunctional, added the report.

Udhampur airfield, from where missiles were fired on Sikhs in Amritsar (Indian Punjab) and other locations in Pakistan, has been hit.

Pakistan also ruined Indian artillery gun position in Dehrangyari, while BrahMos Storage site in Nagrota has also been destroyed, inflicting heavy losses.

India’s Bathinda airfield was too destroyed.

Pakistan Army completely decimated India’s Dharam Sal 1, Danna 1, and Table Top posts opposite the Neza Pir sector.

India’s Akhnoor Aviation Base was destroyed.

Moreover, Indian Bernala Airfield in IIOJK was also destroyed.

As per Radio Pakistan, the Indian Army’s Brigade Headquarters in Bhimber Gali, IIOJK was also destroyed.

Meanwhile, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar said that Pakistan carried out strikes on 26 locations in India, as per *Radio Pakistan.

He said the action was taken in self-defense and Pakistan’s strong response was in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter.

The Information Minister said India was warned that any provocation will be met with a response and today their airbases have been destroyed.

PM Shehbaz convenes meeting of National Command Authority

Soon after Pakistan carried out its operation against India, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif convened National Command Authority (NCA) meeting.

The NCA is the authority responsible for safeguarding the national security of Pakistan through command, control and operational decisions regarding Pakistan’s nuclear weapons programme.

Indian websites hacked

As Pakistan’s counterattack continued, most Indian websites, including the BJP’s official website and the Border Security Forces (BSF), have been hacked, PTV reported.

Other hacked websites include the Crime Research Investigation Agency, the Mahanagar Telecommunication Company Limited, the Bharat Earth Movers Limited, All India Naval Technical Supervisory Staff Association, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Unique Identification Authority of India.

“In addition, more than 2,500 surveillance cameras have also been hacked,” PTV reported.

Pakistan ‘foils’ Indian missile attack on 3 airbases

On Friday, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said Pakistan foiled an Indian attempt to target three airbases with air to surface missiles.

“India fired air to surface missiles from its planes targeting Nur Khan airbase [Rawalpindi], Murid Airbase [Chakwal District], and Shorkot airbase [Jhang],” DG ISPR said.

“All assets are safe,” the military spokesperson said.

“Now, wait for our response.”
