KARACHI: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori met with social activists Ali Sheikhani and Zafar Abbas at Governor’s House, where he donated his one-year salary to the JDC Foundation, reinforcing his commitment to public welfare.
According to a statement by the Governor House today, speaking on the occasion, Governor Tessori emphasized the vital role of welfare organizations as an extension of government efforts in serving the people.
Reiterating his dedication to social welfare, he announced that during Ramadan, Governor House will host Iftar and dinner for one million people, a move praised by social activist Ali Sheikhani, who stated that only a truly public-oriented governor could undertake such an initiative. Zafar Abbas of JDC commended the governor’s continued welfare efforts, calling them highly inspiring.
