KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $14,796.1 million as of 06-Sep-2024. The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under:

i) Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$9,466.6 million.

ii) Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks: US$5,329.5 million.

iii) Total liquid foreign reserves: US$14,796.1 million.

During the week ended on 06-Sep-2024, SBP reserves increased by US$ 30 million to US$ 9,466.6 million.

From the last 75 years our reserves never cross 14 billions. Not able to run this BADQASMAT country.
