KARACHI: Indus Motor Company (IMC) has recently been conferred with the “Compliant Corporate Taxpayer” Award by Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif at a ceremony held in Prime Minister House.
The award was presented to Indus Motor’s Chief Executive Ali Asghar Jamali.
This recognition was bestowed to IMC as a special incentive for the country’s leading exporters and taxpayers, which was recently announced by the Prime Minister, as IMC continues to be one of the highest taxpayers in the country.
On this occasion, Jamali shared that “IMC is overwhelmed on receiving this appreciation from the Government of Pakistan.
We continue to be one of the highest contributors to Pakistan’s economy, in terms of employment generation through local content enhancement and revenue contributor to the national exchequer, in terms of taxes and duties. Our commitment to Pakistan economic growth continues to be reaffirmed with this recognition.”
