The 16th China-South Asia Business Forum, a cornerstone event fostering economic ties, recently convened in Kunming, China. Remarkably, the China-South Asia Business Forum has swiftly emerged as the primary platform for Chinese investment in the dynamic region of South Asia.

Irfan Iqbal Sheikh, President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, led a business delegation from Pakistan comprising Shahzaib Akram, Executive Committee Member SCCI (Pakistan Chapter) and CEO of Pharma Health Pakistan Pvt Ltd, Hina Mansab Khan, Chairperson SCWEC and Safdar Zaman Shah, Executive Committee Member SCCI (Pakistan Chapter).

Iqbal said that as the global and regional landscape is witnessing unprecedented, profound adjustments, it demands that China and South Asia should work closely. South Asian business leaders called upon Chinese enterprises to invest through joint ventures, partnerships, and complementary ventures to address the significant trade imbalances between the two regions.
