Naveed leaves for London to attend Conference

KARACHI: Federal Commerce Minister Syed Naveed Qamar leaves for London to attend the Commonwealth Trade Ministers Conference.

Commerce Ministry officials said that matters of mutual interest and trade will be discussed in the conference.

Investors from Commonwealth countries will be encouraged to invest in the stock market and other sectors.

Incredibly, no matter which govt is in power nor the dire state of the economy/reserves, our honorable ministers/Govt officials will never miss an opportunity to travel abroad for the least important of reasons/meetings. No problem for them as long as there are still a few salaried folks earning and having taxes deducted at source.
