KARACHI: Gold and silver prices on Thursday further grew to the new record highs on the local market, traders said.
Gold prices surged by Rs 2600 to all-time highs of Rs 225,300 per tola and Rs 2,229 to Rs 153,158 per 10 grams.
Silver prices hit fresh historic highs of Rs 2,870 per tola, up by Rs 120 and Rs 2,460.56 per 10 grams, up by Rs 102.88.
On the world market, gold prices stood for $ 2,044 per ounce and silver at $ 25.74 per ounce, traders said.
