KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Thursday at 24,382.94 points with a positive change of 334.24 and volume of 124,379,300 shares. High and Low were 24,404.40 and 24,045.29 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 26 were up, 3 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 211,946,970 shares. Total companies traded were 378 of which 229 were positive, 125 were negative and 24 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 39,137,550 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 37,739,200 shares.
