ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa has visited flood-affected areas in interior Sindh, said a press release.
The COAS met troops busy in flood relief efforts, providing medical and administrative care to the affected people in Naushero Feroz.
The COAS also interacted with the locals and assured them that Pakistan Army will continue to serve people to mitigate their suffering until they are rehabilitated.
Later, the COAS was flown for aerial reconnaissance of the flood-hit areas of Sindh.
Earlier on arrival, Gen Bajwa was received by Lt Gen Muhammad Saeed, the Corps Commander, Karachi.
