ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s largest digital Bank Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited (MMBL) launched an exciting new product, Business Plus Current Account (BPCA), as part of its strategic goal to keep supporting and strengthening businesses across the nation.

Designed to facilitate entrepreneurs, especially Small and Medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the BPCA provides access to essential financial tools and services to support the sustainability and digitalization of business ventures.

The BPCA, a first of its kind in the microfinance industry, will provide exclusive banking services to business and corporate entities across Pakistan and help stabilize cash flows and positively impact revenue streams.

With the Bank’s dedication to keep introducing innovative digital banking solutions, the BPCA is the latest addition to MMBL’s diverse portfolio of digital financial products & services, in a bid to promote financial inclusion and encourage SMEs and home-based business owners to maximize their potential and become financially independent. By providing access to a range of financial services through the BPCA, the new account will help increase the footprint and outreach of businesses, ultimately contributing towards Pakistan’s economic and financial landscape.

The product was launched in Islamabad by MMBL President & CEO Ghazanfar Azzam, in the presence of company executives. Sharing his thoughts on the launch of BPCA, Azzam stated, “We are thrilled to launch this ground-breaking product that will provide increased access to seamless digital financial solutions for a wide range of businesses and their ever-evolving financial needs. MMBL is dedicated to financially empowering enterprises by facilitating simplified access to tailored digital financial services.”

Atta Ur Rehman, Chief Branch Business Officer, further shared some key features of the BPCA that include account opening with a minimum balance of PKR 100, access to a wide range of offerings such as pay orders/bankers cheques, accidental life insurance coverage of up to PKR 2 million, free ATM/Debit card, increased interbank fund transfer limits up to PKR 1.5 million/day, daily ATM withdrawal limits up to PKR 200,000 across any bank ATM machine without any additional charges, and much more.

With the Business Plus Current Account, SMEs and corporate customers can enjoy maximum benefits for free by maintaining an average monthly balance of PKR 25,000/. Entrepreneurs and business owners can easily open the BPCA by registering on the DOST App – MMBL’s premium digital financial services platform and filling out the account opening form online on MMBL’s website or visiting their nearest MMBL branch.

Through its diversified services portfolio, MMBL is expanding its award-winning innovative financial products across various sectors to meet the growing needs of SMEs and corporate entities in Pakistan.
