LAHORE: All the CNG filling stations in Lahore, Gujranwala, Multan and Sahiwal regions closed for three days on Monday to comply with gas shortage management plan.
Many buses and wagons remained off the roads due to non-availability of CNG stations.
People faced problems in reaching their destinations due to dearth of public transport. CNG closure hits thousands of commuters in the provincial capital and those travelling inter-city routes.
Monpolising the situation, rickshaw drivers charged according to their own 'sweet will' while wagons plying the city routes charged extra five to ten rupees.
CNG filling stations shall resume service on Thursday morning after three-day closure.
