KARACHI: On Tuesday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 17.901 billion and the number of lots traded at 18,824. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.595 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.796 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 3.750 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.663 billion), Silver (PKR 1.317 billion), DJ (PKR 619.818 million), Platinum (PKR 396.166 million), SP 500 (PKR 251.685 million), Japan Equity (PKR 196.635 million), Copper (PKR 169.949 million), Natural Gas (PKR 138.622 million) and Brent (PKR 6.005 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 4 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 3.970 million were traded.
