KARACHI: On Thursday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 22.405 billion and the number of lots traded at 20,581. Major business was contributed by Currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 5.885 billion, followed by Gold COTS (PKR 5.746 billion),Crude Oil (PKR 3.287 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.896 billion), Silver (PKR 1.489 billion), DJ (PKR 1.285 billion), SP 500 (PKR 558.665 million), Copper (PKR 464.701 million), Palladium (PKR 306.406 million), Platinum (PKR 228.433 million), Japan Equity (PKR 147.079 million), Natural Gas (PKR 94.591 million) and Brent (PKR 15.326 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 7 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 10.572 million were traded.
