AG restrained from representing govt of Punjab in courts

LAHORE: The Law and Parliament affair Department has restraint Advocate General Punjab from representing the government of Punjab in the courts.

The department in its circular issued here on Saturday said Advocate General Punjab is responsible to represent the provincial government in the courts.

The circular therefore said in the absence of the provincial government Advocate General Punjab could not represent the government in the courts.
