KARACHI: On Tuesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 13.299 billion and the number of lots traded at 12,617. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.279 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.053 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.783 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.646 billion), DJ (PKR 897.060 million), Silver (PKR 845.263 million), SP 500 (PKR 279.925 million), Platinum (PKR 236.961 million), Natural Gas (PKR 162.212 million), Japan Equity (PKR 77.410 million) and Copper (PKR 37.457 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 6 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 7.552 million were traded.
