HANOI: Vietnam is in talks with Malaysia over a possible deal to sell 200,000 tonnes of 5 percent broken rice in 2012, a state-run newspaper reported on Monday.
If concluded, the deal would bring Vietnam's rice exports to Malaysia in 2012 to 500,000 tonnes, the Vietnam Economic Times newspaper said, following a deal of 300,000 tonnes this month.
