Low volume of business seen on grain market

Lean business was witnessed on the wholesale grain market on Monday ahead of Eid-ul-fitr holidays, dealers said. On the cereal side gur low quality was up by Rs 100 to Rs 4500 while the best type retained its weekend level in process of trading, dealers said.
On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh low type shed Rs 3350 while the best quality was unchanged at Rs 3500, other varieties maintained overnight levels, they said. On the seed and grams counters prices did not show any change due to balanced demand supply factor, they said.
