Quetta Gladiators have put up real fight back after McCullum’s destructive hitting and restricted Lahore Qalandars to 118.

Qalandars’ went off fiery start after they were put into bat by the Gladiators. Openers Sunil Narine and Brandon McCullum scored 46 in 3.3 overs for the first wicket.

Rahat Ali broke the partnership by sending Narine (28) to the pavilion.  However, McCullum continued to send ball to the stands. He scored 30 runs.

He was caught Leg Before Wicket (LBW) by Mohammad Nawaz, who bowled the most economical spell of Pakistan Super League (PSL) history. His figures 2 for 4 runs in 4 overs led the fight back for the Gladiators in the game.

Following the departure of the openers, none of the Qalandars batsman resist against Quetta. The emerging star Shoail Akhtar once again showed some character with the bat and contributed with unbeaten 20 runs.

Jofra Archer was the most successful bowler for Quetta as he bagged three wickets for the team. Meanwhile Shane Watson, Hasan Khan and Rahat Ali share a wicket each.
