ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has integrated 13,731 big retailers, textile/leather retailers and restaurants with the Point of Sales (POS) system up to September, 2026 to document transactions of Tier-I retailers and hotels/restaurants.
Total number of integrated branches/outlets of Tier-I retailers, textile/leather retailers and restaurants now stood at 37,770 up to September, 2026.
According to the list of retailers compiled by the FBR till September, a total of 12,016 Tier-I retailers were registered with the POS system. Total number of 25,208 branches of retailers have been integrated with the system.

As many as 1,152 restaurants were registered with the POS system whereas 1,792 branches have been integrated with the FBR’s system.
A total of 563 leather and textile retailers were registered with the FBR whereas 10,770 branches have been integrated with the system.
