ISLAMABAD: Inter-ministerial meeting on revival of Pakistan Steel Mills Corporation (PSMC) was held here Wednesday.
The meeting was co-chaired by Privatisation Minister Mohammedmian Soomro and Minister for Finance and Industries and Production, Muhammad Hammad Azhar.
Federal secretary privatisation, industries, additional secretary industries, other senior officials of ministries and Steel Mills also attended the meeting.
The CFO, Pakistan Steel Mills participated via video link.
In the meeting, various issues related to the revival plan of the PSM were discussed.
It was unanimously agreed upon, that the work for the revival of the PSMC and resolution of related issues be expedited. Federal Minister Mohammedmian Soomro said that we are moving towards revival of the Pakistan Steel Mills in a transparent manner, according to the vision of the prime minister.
