KARACHI: Gold prices on Monday slumped again on the local market, traders said.

The fresh reduction of Rs 1000 pulled down gold price to Rs 105700 per tola.

Gold price per 10 gram fell by Rs 857 to Rs 90621 on the domestic market.

The precious metal was quoted selling for $1727 per ounce on the world market.

Silver was traded for Rs 1360 per tola, Rs 1165.98 per 10 gram and $24.85 per ounce, traders said.
