LAHORE: The ePay Punjab, an online payment solution launched by Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), in collaboration with the Punjab Finance Department, has introduced 24/7 support helpline (042-99030100) to resolve queries related to online payment of taxes.
“The ePay Punjab has built immense trust among the public as it has processed over 3 million transactions while collecting revenue amounting to over Rs 13 billion,” said PITB Chairman Azfar Manzoor while addressing a meeting here on Thursday. DG-IT Operations Faisal Yousaf and other senior officials were present at the meeting.
According to the Chairman, automation of online tax payment system through e-Pay Punjab has increased government collections by enabling the citizens to make online payments on the spot or from the comfort of their homes.
