KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 10.344 billion and the number of lots traded 10,157.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 5.550 billion, followed by DJ PKR 1.759 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 1.022 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 612.944 million, copper PKR 411.576 million, natural gas PKR 251.895 million, platinum PKR 225.591 million, silver PKR 211.100 million, crude oil PKR 191.198 million and SP500 PKR 107.526 million.

In agriculture commodities, one lot of wheat amounting to PKR 4.667 million and 8 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 4.368 million were traded.
