KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 6.935 billion and the number of lots traded 6,988.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.619 billion, followed by DJ PKR 702.271 million, NSDQ100 PKR 642.474 million, copper PKR 557.639 million, currencies through COTS PKR 556.019 million, natural gas PKR 333.771 million, silver PKR 203.680 million, crude oil PKR 141.887 million, platinum PKR 120.847 million, and SP500 PKR 57.320 million.

In agriculture commodities, 3 lots of wheat amounting to PKR 13.989 million and 2 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 1.084 million were traded.
