KARACHI: On Thursday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 9.042 billion and the number of lots traded 8,228.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.818 billion, followed by DJ PKR 1.782 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 1.480 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 1.025 billion, crude oil PKR 215.095 million, silver PKR 201.573 million, natural gas PKR 178.496 million, copper PKR 135.530 million, platinum PKR 122.571 million and SP500 PKR 82.508 million.

In agriculture commodities, 7 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 3.836 million were traded.
