KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 7.573 billion and the number of lots traded 7,818.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.396 billion, followed by DJ PKR 1.393 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 910.701 million, NSDQ 100 PKR 897.595 million, silver PKR 278.375 million, crude oil PKR 224.690 million, natural gas PKR 156.448 million, platinum PKR 155.610 million, copper PKR 107.028 million and SP500 PKR 52.433 million.

In agriculture commodities, 2 lots of corn amounting to PKR 6.648 million and 3 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 1.666 million were traded.
