KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 26.367 billion and the number of lots traded 20,489.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 13.007 billion, followed by DJ PKR 4.024 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 3.533 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 1.988 billion, copper PKR 1.818 billion, silver PKR 914.552 million, SP500 PKR 418.783 million, crude oil PKR 317.827 million, platinum PKR 232.182 million, natural gas PKR 111.474 million.

In agriculture commodities, 7 lots of wheat amounting to PKR 18.844 million and one lot of soybean amounting to PKR 8.867 million were traded.
