ATC sends PML-N MPA to jail

LAHORE: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday refused further physical remand of PML-N MPA Khawaja Imran Nazir and sent him to jail for judicial remand. Chung police had registered an FIR against the PML-N leaders and workers for attacking a police party outside the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore office when PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz came there to appear in an inquiry.

Earlier, Chung police produced Khawaja Imran before the court and the investigating officer demanded his further remand. The court however refused further remand and sent Khawaja Imran to jail.
