FBR takes notice after extravagant wedding video went viral

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has taken notice of the extravagant wedding of the daughter of a prominent Gujranwala industrialist, the video of which went viral on social media.

For the past few days, the extravagant wedding in Lahore is making waves on social media of the daughter of a prominent industrialist, on which the FBR took notice.

As per media reports, the FBR issued notices to industrialist Sheikh Mehmood Iqbal of Master Tiles and sought clarification on payments made to singers Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam, who performed at the event.

The FBR has issued notice to industrialist Sheikh Mahmood Iqbal seeking a reply by November 16. According to the Federal Board of Revenue, the wedding took place in Lahore from November 5 to 7 and the extravagant wedding cost a fortune.
