KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 8.058 billion and the number of lots traded 9,983.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.362 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 PKR 1.764 billion, DJ PKR 1.420 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 481.169 million, silver PKR 331.102 million, crude oil PKR 180.948 million, platinum PKR 178.799 million, natural gas PKR 176.277 million, SP500 PKR 137.615 million and copper PKR 24.966 million.
In agriculture commodities, 9 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 35.230 million, one lot of soybean amounting to PKR 8.469 million, 2 lot of corn amounting to PKR 6.362 million and one lot of wheat amounting to PKR 4.833 million were traded.
