(Karachi) Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that if the Muslim world did not counter Islamophobia, it will continue to rise at a rapid pace.

Addressing the National Rehmatul-lil-Alameen Conference in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAWW) celebrations in Islamabad on Friday, he said that Islamophobia is rising globally. "I will speak to leaders of Muslim countries and will discuss the issue of Islamophobia."

He mentioned that the people in European countries have no idea about the respect and love the Muslims have for our last Prophet.

He said the life of our Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) is a role model for all of us to follow. He said that it is need of the hour to impart knowledge about Seeratun Nabi to the youth. "Allah has written in Quran to follow the teachings of the last Prophet," he stated.

The PM stated that no Muslim in the world can tolerate blasphemy. "Our Prophet taught us to live peacefully and treat people of other religions with respect," he said.

He said the Prophet (PBUH) established Madina State with Justice, fraternity and equality which is still role model for the entire world.

He said that the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) are forbearance, patience and tolerance which must be disseminated to promote peace, tranquility and interfaith harmony across the world.

"We will teach Seeratun Nabi in primary and secondary classes to aware children about the teachings of our Prophet," Imran said.

He added that the government will hold Rehmatul-lil-Alameen Conference on international level each year.
