ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday, said a press release.

A statement by the Prime Minister’s Office said that the professional matters pertaining to Pakistan Army, internal and external security situation were discussed during the meeting.

Taking into account recent efforts to stoke violence in Pakistan, the prime minister resolved that entire nation was united against the cowardly acts of the enemy.

The prime minister paid tribute to the personnel of Pakistan Army, the FC, and the law enforcement agencies, who sacrificed their lives for the defence of the motherland.—PR
