KARACHI: On Tuesday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 6.928 billion and the number of lots traded 9,129.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 2.751 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 PKR 1.009 billion, copper PKR 807.362 million, currencies through COTS PKR 736.363 million, silver PKR 644.048 million, natural gas PKR 386.018 million, platinum PKR 231.473 million, DJ PKR 197.003 million, crude oil PKR 137.300 million and SP500 PKR 28.514 million.

In agriculture commodities, 8 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 20.243 million and one lot of wheat amounting to PKR 5.132 million were traded.
