KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 9.578 billion and the number of lots traded 10,368.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.446 billion, followed by DJ PKR 1.904 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 1.158 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 1.004 billion, silver PKR 739.760 million, natural gas PKR 462.487 million, copper PKR 333.220 million, crude oil PKR 321.813 million, platinum PKR 146.610 million and SP500 PKR 60,655 million. In agriculture commodities, 6 lots of wheat amounting to PKR 30.655 million and 3 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 6.898million were traded.
