We have to take Karachi forward, business community should cooperate with Karachi Metropolitan Corporation for betterment in the city," he added.

He said that there was dire need to resolve three chronic issues: water scarcity, lack of transport and collapsed sewerage system in the city. He was of the view some people follow standard operating procedures but there are a large number of citizens who don't bother to follow SOPs, urging that we have to show some responsibility and keep us and our beloved ones safe from the deadly virus.

Shallwani said that coronavirus had done damage across the world and Pakistan is also amongst the countries where Covid-19 is once again spreading. "Prevention is the best way as we can defeat any disease by adopting preventive measures," he added.
