Ghani expresses his deep sorrow, grief over death of Rashid Rabbani

KARACHI: Minister for Education and Labor Sindh, Saeed Ghani has expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the demise of party activist and senior leader Rashid Hussain Rabbani.
Rashid Hussain Rabbani was no less than an asset to the PPP, he said in the statement released here on Thursday.
He has been his companion in this journey from Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and now from Asif Ali Zardari to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for the sake of democracy in this country, he said adding Rashid Hussain Rabbani made immense sacrifices for democracy even in the dictatorial era.
Today, with his sad demise, the PPP has lost a true, sincere and loyal ally, he said.
May Allah forgive and place the departed soul in eternal peace, the provincial minister said adding May Allah Almighty elevate the ranks of the deceased and grant patience to his family.
