'SBP provided Rs. 2 billion to 14 units under TERF'

FAISALABAD: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Faisalabad has provided financing facility of Rs. 2 billion to 14 units under Temporary Economic Refinance Facility (TERF) while employment of 66,700 workers was saved through SBP Rozgar Scheme.
This was said by Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) President Engineer Hafiz Ihtesham Javed while talking to APP.
He appreciated different schemes launched by the government through SBP to help young entrepreneurs start their own businesses instead of running after jobs.
He said that applications were being received for the TERF scheme which would conclude on March 31, 2021.
About the Rozgar Scheme, He said that it had been further extended for the month of October for employers who would not layoff their workers despite coronavirus situation.
