Balochistan CM tests positive for coronavirus

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has tested positive for the coronavirus.

The chief minister announced on Twitter that his coronavirus test came out positive. Balochistan Awami Party leader did not give any further details of his condition.

Several politicians including PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, and other leaders had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. They all went into self-isolation and recovered.

Since September, Pakistan has been witnessing a surge in the coronavirus due to which the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) issued fresh coronavirus guidelines.

On Tuesday, Pakistan reported 615 cases and 13 deaths.
