KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 6.340 billion and the number of lots traded 9,253.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.118 billion, followed by copper PKR 643.852 million, silver PKR 608.987 million, DJ PKR 517.877 million, currencies through COTS PKR 499.896 million, NSDQ 100 PKR 373.819 million, platinum PKR 304.620 million, natural gas PKR 136.746 million, crude oil PKR 117.290 million and SP500 PKR 18.720 million.

In agriculture commodities, 2 lots of soybean amounting to PKR 17.344 million and 3 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 6.671 million were traded.
