Rupee gains 25 paisas against dollar
- In interbank trading, the price of euro depreciated by 23 paisas and closed at Rs. 192.63 against the last day’s trading of Rs. 192.86, State Bank of Pakistan reported.
ISLAMABAD: The exchange rate of Pakistani rupee strengthened by 25 paisas against US dollar in the interbank trading on Thursday and closed at Rs. 163.72 against the previous day's closing of 163.97.
Meanwhile according to Forex Association of Pakistan, the buying and selling rates of dollar in open market were recorded at Rs. 163.5 and Rs. 164.2 respectively.

The Japanese Yen remained same and closed at Rs. 1.54, whereas an increase of Rs. 0.54 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs212.32 as compared to its last closing of Rs. 211.78.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal declined by 07 paisas each to close at Rs. 44.57 and Rs. 43.64 respectively.
