ISLAMABAD: Manufacturers from various sectors including pharma, cement, textile, chemicals, home appliances, and textile met Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday.

Minister for Industries, Advisor Commerce, Advisor Institutional Reforms, Advisor Finance, Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), and senior officials were also present. The meeting discussed issues faced by various sectors and the measures taken by the government to resolve them. They also presented various suggestions to the prime minister for the promotion of industrial sector.

The prime minister said that increase in exports was priority of his government to stabilie the economy. The government is committed to provide incentives to the industrial sector for its development. Later on, investors investing in new Blue Area project also met with the prime minister.-PR
