COAS praises role, sacrifices of army veterans

  • ISPR says General Bajwa met with retired officers of the first batch of Pakistan Military Academy at General Head Quarters

(Karachi) Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has praised the role and sacrifices of army veterans, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated on Wednesday.

According to ISPR, General Bajwa met with retired officers of the first batch of Pakistan Military Academy at General Head Quarters and interacted with them.

On the occasion, the COAS appreciated the role of the former military officials. The army chief also discussed different issues with the PMA veterans, the ISPR said.

Earlier, COAS Bajwa expressed his heartfelt condolence on demise of Amir of State of Kuwait, HH, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

In a tweet, the army chief said: "May Allah Almighty bless his soul and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss, Ameen.”
