All primary schools to reopen tomorrow: Shafqat Mahmood

  • He said strict action would be taken against those schools who do not follow SOPs.

Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood announced on Tuesday that all primary schools across the country will reopen on September 30.

In a presser, the minister assured parents that strict action would be taken against schools if they are found to be violating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). He further said that the role of teachers and parents is very important. Mahmood stressed that all students should wear masks.

After a closure of seven months, all public and private schools for students of class 9 and 10 as well as universities and colleges were reopened on September 15. In the second phase on September 23, middle schools were reopened.

However, Sindh reopened all primary and secondary schools on September 28.
