Additional SHO shot dead in Karachi

KARACHI: The additional SHO of Gulistan-e-Jauhar police station was shot dead during an exchange of fire with suspected robbers on Friday. Police said the encounter took place at Block-1, Gulistan-e-Johar when the criminals were busy in snatching valuables from the public.

One snatcher/criminal Rizwan son of Rafaqat was arrested in injured condition, while his three accomplices fled the scene. Police recovered snatched cash Rs6500 and mobile phone etc. Sub inspector Raheem Khan was killed in the shootout, police said. His body was shifted to a nearby hospital.
