An accountability court declared on Wednesday Nawaz Sharif a proclaimed offender in the Toshakhana reference.

Declaring Sharif a proclaimed offender, the court said that his case is going to be separated. The court has sought details of his movable and immovable assets within a week from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

NAB witnesses have also been summoned in the next hearing.

The court indicted former president Asif Ali Zardari and former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani in the Toshakhana reference. Both have denied the charges against them.

The bureau has accused Gillani of illegally allotting cars to Zardari and Sharif. NAB has alleged that Gillani facilitated Zardari and Sharif in obtaining cars from Toshakhana by paying 15 per cent of the price of the cars.
