KARACHI: Pak Sarzameen Party Chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal on Friday said neither Sindh nor Muhajir card will work now as it's only Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) card that will work from now on. Addressing a massive public rally outside the Karachi Press Club Kamal said PSP will never allow our motherland Sindh to be divided nor will let anybody ripped the heart of this motherland, Karachi.

The protest was staged to reject the formation of the new district in Karachi on ethnic grounds and to censure the PPP-led provincial government for hatching conspiracy against Karachi.

“PPP is trying to occupy Karachi, let me assure all of you that we will take away Sindh government from them too,” Kamal threatened. The PPP is fanning ethnic fire in the province for the survival of its rule and politics. We will thwart every conspiracy of PPP and the MQM that creates rifts amongst the Sindhis and Muhajir for their political gains.

Without Karachi, PPP's Sindh card is incomplete, so efforts are being made to occupy the metropolis. PPP provincial government always makes decisions on ethnic grounds, after the census, he said when a National Assembly seat was being extended in Karachi, it was extended in District West despite the fact that the District Central was the largest in terms of population.

Moreover, it reduced the existing 5 seats in District Central to four and instead of increasing the number of seats, one seat in Central which is thickly populated by Urdu speaking community was further reduced and added the same to District West where the population was small.

A candidate in District Central becomes an MPA with 260,000 votes, while a candidate with 56,000 votes becomes an MPA in PS99. “We do not find such a big discrepancy in the method of electing the representatives of the same city anywhere else in the world,” he deplored.

After the decision of the PPP, those (MQM) who canâ€(tm)t take control of even a sewerage line and separate a single street in Liaqatabad from Liaquatabad start raising slogan of the separate province.

This is exactly what the PPP need to flourish its hate politics that a voice from Karachi arise to break Sindh. When the sound of breaking Sindh is heard from Karachi, PPP tells our innocent Sindhi brothers that the motherland of Sindh has to be saved, in order to divert the Sindhi nation attention form their children who died of corruption, incompetence, dog bites, malnutrition, starvation and AIDS.

Kamal said MQM was enjoying ministries in the PPP government when local body powers were being taken away by PPP. Now the PPP has given a new slogan to the so-called representatives of the city to save the politics of both PPP and MQM.
