PANO AQIL: A man slaughtered 11 members of his family, including his wife, three sons, four daughters, in village Junas near Pano Aqil in the wee hours of Wednesday.
The police said that the accused, Mian Wahabullah Indhur, with a big sharp-edge knife attacked and slaughtered 11 members of his family that include his wife, three sons, four daughters, two grandsons and a daughter-in-law.
The police have arrested accused Wahabullah, his three other sons Dur Mohammad, Hizbullah and Habibullah, and two other accused from Adilpur and started a probe into the incident.
The accused man had confessed to committing the crime. The man was stated to be mentally-retarded, the villagers said. The accused had also killed his brother a year ago, they said.
Those killed included wife Rukaya, Hajyani, Nazia, Surya, Isra, Iqra, Naseem, Sobia, Mehmood Ahsan and Ali Sher. The deceased children's age was stated to be from two to five years. The cause behind the incident could not be ascertained yet, said the police.
